Hi,

We are looking to restart our Organicarian Company, but rather than manufacture & then sell, we now wish to offer an on-line store selling a wide range of Organic/Green/eco products, ideally in skincare & beauty products.
Can anyone assist us in Wholesale supply of these items, or would be willing to dropship?

Many Thanks.

Hi Aria, we produce all our own all natural skin care, and can offer both wholesale and dropshipping terms. I'll send you a pm with our web address so you can have a look. We have many of the same values as your Organicarian website, ie authentic natural, full list of ingredients and no funny ingredients slipped in at the end ;)

HomeMattersMost

Hi

I may be able to help. I dropship organic cotton textiles, namely my handkerchiefs, which may be of use to you. They are my best selling organic natural product by far. My company is HomeMattersMost dot co dot uk and I will dropship to the UK as well as to many European countries.

Hope this helps and good luck :)

Hi,

If your interested, we are a relatively new company in the UK but have been established since 1993 in Europe. Have a look, if you are happy with the selection, then drop us an email. The dropshipping side is in a private section, seen on registration acceptance.

Hi, can you send me details too. I'm looking for a wholesaler, dropshipper, maybe even one with good white label products?

Thanks...

Hi Sally,

I would be very interested too. I'm looking for a wholesaler, dropshipper, maybe even one with good white label products?

Thanks...

Hi ecohome ,
I order my products at wholesale rates from a company called Neways.
If you want to take a look at the products I have a selection on my site at http://www.healthcatalog.co.uk
There is more information on the company and products at
http://www.sallyhill.ineways.eu
You can also register for a distributor account there.

(They don't do white label products and you'd need to set up your own ecommerce site for selling the products)
I hope that helps.
All the best,
Sally.

Thank you for the info on this thread, i'm setting up a website shortly and looking for eco-friendly products (not cosmetics or toiletries or cleaning products as i already have a great supplier for those including my own label brand of them) but interested in anything else particulary anyone who could offer dropshipping .

Try www[dot]orldwidebrands[dot]com and www[dot]globalsources[dot]com

Worldwide Brands have a panel of people who personally hand-pick the dropshippers and wholesalers to be listed in their database. They have strict selection criteria and I've heard that only 10-20% of the dropshippers/manufacturers that they review make it into their list.

The obvious places to start are the UK wholesalers:
- Tree of Life
- Xuma
- Queenswood
- The Health Store
- Community Foods

They have a wide range of natural skin care products, including brands such as Pai Skincare, Trilogy, Green People, Jason and many more.

If you are thinking of drop shipping....think again - this is not a great model for this industry and you won't be taken seriously by the brands.

The only drop shipper of note in the industry is Cult Beauty, which started out as a blog. However, they were forced to abandon the model some time ago.

If you don't have the cash or don't want to tie up your capital in inventory (which is a sensible move if you are testing the market), then there are affiliate programs instead.

This would play to your strengths in online marketing (which I hope you have if you are thinking of setting up an online retailer!!!) and you can make some very good margins:
- Pai Skincare (15% net commission Affiliate Window)
- Green People (10% net commission Affiliate Window)
- Neals Yard (think it is 10%, might be a bit less)
- Liz Earle (8% but I think they might be closing their's).

I get the impression that you've considered starting a brand and worked out that doing so on not much cash is not a fun project.

They take up a lot of time and money - Nude Skincare, started by the Brian Meehan who founded Fresh and Wild, has lost over £2million per year for the last two years.

You might think that you've hit on an unexploited niche, but there are an awful lot of people out there with the same idea, and you'll have some way to go before you can catch up with the likes of Love Lula or Content.
