As of March 3, 2026, Facebook is experiencing a widespread, major outage in the US and UK, with thousands of users unable to log in, load pages, or refresh the app, according to reports. The issues began around 9:40 pm GMT, making it a current platform-wide problem rather than a user-specific glitch.

Facebook have gone offline numerous times before and generally recovered within a couple of hours or so, generally because they allow their developers to make make changes to live systems without proper testing. It's working right now for me.

Worrying?!?! Sounds like great news for the UK economy, I wouldn't be surprised if productivity just went up several percent if FB was down for a whole hour.

I spend a bit of money promoting Facebook posts for two reasons. No point in moaning if not enough people read it ............and it does actually generate some leads.
