It would seem that the advice given yesterday was not entirely clear - I have a retail store and for all intents and purposes have to close (which I have!) on looking at the documents provided by the Gov Email service this morning it gives a list of retail stores that can remain open.. I list below :-

Quote:
Supermarkets and other food shops, health shops, pharmacies including non-dispensing pharmacies, petrol stations, bicycle shops, home and hardware shops, laundrettes and dry cleaners, bicycle shops, garages, car rentals, pet shops, corner shops, newsagents, post offices, and Banks.

Funny that bicycle shops are mentioned twice -must have been penned by Boris
I am (or was) a copy shop, we provide services for print Leaflets, Takeaway Menus, Builders Plans etc and we also retail Ink and Toner Cartridges in our local town of Trowbridge in Wiltshire. I have been here in the store on my own which is how I normally operate as I don't have staff and people have already been phoning and knocking on the door this morning.
Anybody know what the definition of a "Home and Hardware" shop is? or where I can go to get clarification?
Cheers business people - hopefully this won't last long?
Andy.
